Autumn can be a nice change of pace after a hot summer. Think football games, cooler, more comfortable weather, apple picking & cider and, of course, the leaves changing colors from greens to beautiful reds, oranges and yellows.

Raking leaves is a time-consuming task and can leave many with sore backs and blisters on their hands. That's where we step in. Most times, if requested when we mow the property, we will chop up the leaves along with your regular mowing and blow the bits around so they don't compact unless there has been a desire communicated to remove leaves completely. At that point we take great care to remove leaves from the property and then mow and care for your lawn.
Leave it to us to come in and blow leaves to the curb for your community to remove or we have our own truck to completely haul your leaf litter away.

Experts say it's important not to let leaves collect on the ground for too long. Excess leaves on the lawn blocks sunlight and reduces water evaporation, which can cause fungus, mold and disease. These things alone can wipe out a lawn in a year or two, even if it's cleaned up in the spring. Just like anything in life, a healthy lawn can take a hit and bounce back, but a stressed lawn can be sent over the edge with leaves being allowed to sit for a period of time. This is seen when grass will no longer grow and you have spots throughout the area that are brown and bare - might as well call them mudholes. Letting leaves sit = reseeding in the spring.
Wet, decomposing leaves can also be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Being bug free is the best way to enjoy being outdoors!
